Auguste Moreau Marble Statue of Infant on Ebonised Hardwood Pedestal. A lovely marble statue by sculptor AUGUSTE MOREAU (1834-1917) of a child sat upon a flowering pedestal, signed with inscription verso ‘De Faise Le Sculpture L’art 38’ Moreau is known for casting in bronze and his marble carvings are a rare find. He was born in

A fine, late Georgian marble portrait Bust of Edward Willes. Made by the sculptor John Bacon Senior (signed) Bacon was a well establish British sculptor. As an apprentice, he showed great skill at moulding which led to his promotion as a modeller. He began working with marble in 1763 while he was at George Yard
Italian Coat of Arms, dating around 1890, with decorative olive and oak leaves. It has been carved and inlaid into wood. We believe this is linked to the Italian Monarchy, House of Savoy. It would have been presented by the King, to shop owners, as recognition for their high quality of product or services.
Antique Georgian Style Plaster Wall Plaque, dating from the early 1800s. Once a decorative ceiling panel. There are picture fixings attached to the back, so that this can be displayed as a wall plaque.
An Italian carved marble figural group of Ariadne and the Panther. The nude Princess seated on Bacchus’s panther, rectangular integral plinth base, signed indistinctly, after the model by Johann Heinrich von Dannecker (German, Stuttgart 1758–1841).
