An Italian carved marble figural group of Ariadne and the Panther. The nude Princess seated on Bacchus’s panther, rectangular integral plinth base, signed indistinctly, after the model by Johann Heinrich von Dannecker (German, Stuttgart 1758–1841). A Decorative English Tudor Style Terracotta Brick or tile featuring Queen Elizabeth I? and a Gentleman, possibly Robert Dudley? Reputedly found in the garden of a Tudor manor house in Surrey. We are selling this as reclaimed, antique, 19th century or earlier.
