Dated to circa 1800, this stunning floral and fretwork surround is presented in the Regency style.
Profusely carved from pine with stripped finish. Bracketed acanthus jambs support a dog leg design with floral motifs throughout.
The mantel has a stunning pierce carved fretwork face, centred with a floral swag. A band of egg and dart moulding supports a staggered mantel to complete.
Reclaimed from Hassop Hall, a 17th century manor house in Derbyshire.
