back to topA pair of antique continental mahogany carvings depicting two faces in profile among scrolling foliage, one facing left and the other right.
Now repurposed as wall decoration, these carved panels were reclaimed from an ornate cabinet showcased in the second Swiss National Exhibition of 1896 in Geneva. It was at this event that the automobile was introduced to Switzerland for the first time!

These 19th century carvings are brilliantly handcarved and will make a handsome addition to any interior.
