Pair of 19th Century Neoclassical Stained Glass Windows

A pair of weathered late 19^th century neoclassical stained glass windows detailing figures emblematic of the arts, two of four similar windows we are selling.

Dressed in robes, the female figures could represent two of the nine Greek Muses. Though worn, one of the indistinct figures can be seen playing a harp or a lyre, the other holding a paint brush and palette.

The central handpainted panels are surrounded by an array of plain yellow, red and blue glass panes in the same manner as the other panels we are selling. Together they would make a complementary and colourful set.
