About this piece
back to topA 19th century Georgian style light oak fire surround.
Salvaged from a house in Maidenhead, this large scale fire surround dates back to circa 1880.
The narrow jambs support an ornate overmantel, dressed with a band of delicate bead and reel below acanthus leaves in high relief. A finer carving dresses the front edge to finish this impressive piece.
