A pair of 19th century Hand Carved Gilt Wood Cornucopias.

Intricately carved from pine and finished in gold which has aged to a give a greenish hue.

Dating to circa 1850 this handed pair of architectural pediments are layered with crops, fruits, foliage and flowers.

On the left, the layered carving appears to show an earlier season, with flowers growing, fruits ripening and foliage unfurling.

On the right, flowers appear in full bloom with plump fruits and berries throughout.
