This deeply carved pine Tudor Rose was salvaged from an Abbey near Loch Ness in Scotland. Carved with meticulous skill and attention to detail, the rose unfurls into layers of foliage and scrolling petals.
Tooling marks can be seen throughout, with a rich deep oak stained finish. The square edge has pierced sections through the outer square border made up of flowing leaves.
Although this piece was intended for a ceiling, it makes for a striking wall hanging with a sharp edge that protrudes from the wall with layered detail.
