This hand carved and polychrome decorated coat of arms panel is dated to circa 1790.
The gilded crest is a large shield design with striped flags across the diagonals. To the top is a castle and the bottom left, a fleur de lis.
The shield is surrounded with scrolling foliage and topped with a plumed knights helm.
Mounted to a modern backing and framed, the piece is well-preserved with impressive proportions.
