This Tudor coffer or chest is deeply carved across the front face. The centre panels have swirling foliate panels, with the outer two also matching with diamonds and roundels.

There are panelled sides and a hinged panelled lid which has been skillfully repaired at some point.

A key hole is visible on the face which is no longer present. One can only imagine the treasures this may have held!
