About this piece

A large and beautifully carved Victorian Tudor revival oak wall hanging panel, handcarved with two ornate arches, Vitruvian scrolling and four male and female herm-type figures.

Formerly a fireplace overmantel, this oak panel has been repurposed as a handsome wall decor piece where it’s craftsmanship and beauty can be celebrated and observed in close detail.

Dating from the 19th century but carved in an earlier 17th century style, it will look stunning on the walls of a period property, in-keeping with traditional features, as well as contemporary settings where the warm oak colour will add character and interest to minimalist, neutral spaces.
