A large and colourful Victorian era glazed ceramic 10-inch decorative tile, ex. Michael Blood collection.

Originating from late 19^th century England, this antique tile sees raised leaf decoration in a rich shade of green between yellow urns and a central blue flower roundel before a pale blue/grey backdrop, all glazed to provide an eye-catching, lustrous finish.

It is just one of various tiles we are selling that were formerly part of the Michael Blood collection. Michael’s collection was vast and decorated the walls of his magnificent Edwardian home.
