Possibly a copy of a medieval work, the glass sees an armoured knight with blue and gold lion insignias successfully besting a fellow knight wearing yellow chequered clothing in a jousting match. Above, five noblewomen watch from atop the castle battlement.
Though small in design, the level of detail in this stained glass scene is exceptional, telling the story of medieval competition, royalty and the lifestyles of ancient nobility.
