Pair of Antique French Cast Iron Garden Urns with Griffin Handles

A pair of antique French cast iron garden urns, each with two stylised bird or griffin handles, circa 1900.

Finished with old green paint and surface rust finish throughout, these heavy and substantial shallow urns will make beautiful decorative pieces in any garden. You can just imagine them on pillars either side of a graduated garden staircase or placed either side of a flower bed. 

While similar style antique urns would often have losses to the handles, these urns both have their original handles intact; a rare and unusual find for cast iron urns of this age and size.
