Hand carved in England circa 1890, this nautical themed Victorian carvings has a mix of floral themes with a pair of Neoclassical dolphins.
Carved in high relief, each panel resembles a window, with two dolphins facing inwards with a blooming fountain flowing vertically above.
Blending between foliage and water styles, the design pierces through flowers as it ascends.
The back have labels for White & Co. Ltd Furniture Depositories Winchester.
