About this piece

A large scale architectural Neoclassical style fire surround.
This large mahogany fireplace was crafted in England circa 1900. Crafted in an architectural style, it comprises of full column ionic capitals, a dual layered mantle and traditional panelled frieze.
A small shelf runs along the centre with enough depth to create a display. Bead and reel dentals add a fine detail above the panels in the shelf below a large top shelf.
The grand scale resembles the front of a temple, and would make a stunning feature in a larger room.
