About this piece
back to topA large 6m run of late 20th century faux decorative books, reclaimed from a museum exhibition. Arranged in runs of various sizes as pictured, the groups vary from single books to longer runs of up to 26 books.
Imitating old antique books, these faux books are perfect for interior decor and display. Place on shelves to create a unique library bookcase, style creatively to conceal a secret doorway or use as props for theatrical performances or film productions – the possibilities are endless!
This is just one set of large faux book runs we are selling, each made of resin/composite book spines in various colours and attached to manmade board, imitating aged Victorian and Georgian library books.
Highlights of this collection include red, cream, dark green and blue spines and amusing titles of natural history and historical interest such as “Vacuum-cleaner Fish: Finding Food on the Floor” and “Here Comes the Sun: Dood’n Doo-doo”.
