‘Canterbury’ Reclaimed Stained Glass Window

A large reclaimed stained glass window depicting the arms of the diocese of Canterbury. The panel details an armorial crest to the central roundel within a repeating rectangular patterned glass window bordered with red and green.

To the centre of the window is a deep blue shield featuring a white pallium representing the Bishop’s coat of arms. The term ‘see of’ in ‘See of Canterbury’ refers to the Bishop’s seat at Canterbury Cathedral.

This is one of four similar stained glass panels we are selling commemorating the cathedrals and churches of the East of England.
