About this piece
back to topAn architectural olive wood model of an Italian church or temple crafted in the 20th century.
Skilfully carved, this model is of an unknown building, thought to be Italian. The structure has a distinct tower on the roof, with a domed cupola.
Hand made from olive wood, much time and care has gone into this model.
The entrance has large columns either side of the door. Each of the front windows are drilled out, possible to replicate stained-glass roundels.
The olive wood has a deep and characterful grain which resembles marble.
