Good structural condition. Small chips and scuffs; one particularly to the right-hand side. A couple of natural flaws in the marble. Transports as 7 pieces. There's an additional 3cm approx depth; previously set into a wall.

A stunning antique white statuary and green Connemara marble fireplace, circa 1880. Elegantly proportioned, this antique fireplace draws inspiration from classical Georgian styling, the statuary white marble boldly contrasted by vertical green marble inlays.

Neoclassical influences are present throughout including carved floral patera to each end block above impressive jambs styled as Greek ionic columns. The central tablet is most ornate featuring a reclining figure, thought to be the Greek Goddess Venus, with a bow and arrows with a dog beneath a tree.
