About this piece

An antique stained glass depiction of Catherine of Alexandria presented in a large scale.

This striking piece is one of three we have available including St Joseph with baby Jesus and Jesus resurrected. Catherine is stood below a ‘Catherine Wheel.’ The method of execution she was sentenced to which failed, breaking when she touched it. Her highly detailed painted face looks calm and content, bearing a crown.

She holds in her hands a bible and a martyr’s palm frond, which represents faith and martyrdom. Along the base reads ‘St Catherine Of Alexandria.’ With a full spectrum of colours, this wonderful depiction is a highly detailed tribute.

Supplied in a pinewood frame for transport and safety.
