About this piece
back to topA stunning late 18th/early 19th century neoclassical white statuary marble chimneypiece tablet mounted on a stand. Originally from a property in Mayfair, London, this large scale antique chimneypiece tablet would have once been part of a very large and impressive Georgian era fireplace.
Now mounted on a bespoke steel stand for decorative display, it’s details can be observed and appreciated up close, the white statuary marble handcarved with a roundel to the centre with three winged putti and neoclassical foliage swags, before a tinos green marble border.
