This elegant fire grate has a polished steel fretwork apron with a repeating diamond pattern with a beaded edge.
Each leg has turned knob finials, hand made by skilled English blacksmiths circa 1880.
The basket and back is heavy cast iron contrasting the highly polished front, typical of the George III style.
