These beautiful late 19th century planters are detailed with Tudor rose decorations – symbolising the English Tudor Dynasty (1485-1603) – and have retained their vibrant red terracotta colour, making them a statement piece for any garden. Each antique planters is stamped: ‘W. Meeds & Son. Manufacturers. Burgess Hill, Sussex’.

W. Meeds & Son Ltd were brick, tile and pottery makers from 1890 – 1921. They were based on Station Road, Burgess Hill, Sussex.
