Condition Report

Good structural condition. Fitted with clear single glazing. Previously used as swing doors; as a result, they have rounded outside edges and a slight round where they touch in the centre. Not rebated. These could easily be hinged with conventional butt hinges and rebated in the centre.

Dating from the early 20th century, this pair of reclaimed dark oak interior doors make a handsome set of dividing doors in a traditional Victorian townhouse. Each are fitted with two clear single glazed windows above twelve deep-set panels in a style evocative of the period. Made from solid oak with a rich colour, these reclaimed dark wood double doors were previously used as swing doors, resulting in rounded edges and no rebate. See condition report below for details. At 120 years old, they are in good structural condition and can be easily adapted for use as a period feature in an interior project.
