About this piece

Reclaimed cast iron floor grids (62 available), suitable for interior and exterior use. Suitable for a variety of uses, these original ornate grids or grills were once used to cover heating pipes in church orangeries and Victorian greenhouses or mills.

Dating to circa 1870, these unusually large sized grids are an ode to the fine craftsmanship of their 19th century foundry.

They would look impressive in a period property, particularly of Georgian or Victorian style.

These six foot grids are a particularly unusual find, the standard being four feet.
