About this piece
back to topA very impressive reclaimed 20th century Italian marble bath or trough planter.
This beautiful bath was reputedly commissioned for the London home of Polish Nobility. Perhaps this is why it has a distinct air of grandeur with its complete gadrooned body, curved edges and rolled top.
The natural Italian Calcutta marble is of stunning quality, showcasing unique natural veining throughout.
Complete with drainage hole to the base, this could be fitted with a waste and used as a grand bath in a large bathroom or ensuite. Alternatively, it could be used as a decorative garden planter for shrubs and flowers, or as a water trough as part of a garden fountain.
