Marked ‘Ewart and Son Ltd’ of Euston Road, London, this antique roof ventilator appears as ‘Design T’ in the Ewart catalogue (pictured). Established in the early 19th century, the company was one of England’s leading manufacturers of water heaters and copper ventilators.
