This Reclaimed English wrought iron pedestrian gate is one of a set of three from the same property. Thought to be from the late 19th to early 20th century, this is the tallest of the three.
Crafted with a substantial gauge steel, the gate is exceptionally strong and sturdy for its size. A scrolling design incorporates sharp symmetrical circles with a relaxed pinnacle of twists and points. The gate is fronted with additional decorative collars that are flat backed, defining the outward facing side.
Clearly made with security in mind, this gate is fitted with a latch which can be padlocked.
