An impressive large plaster maquette horse sculpture of 20th century champion racehorse Red Rum by sculptor Annette Yarrow. This would’ve been used to create the original in bronze.

Red Rum was a thoroughbred steeplechaser who won the esteemed Grand National at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool three times: first in 1973, then again in 1974 and finally in 1977. Commissioned in 1978, this maquette by Annette Yarrow (B. 1932) stands at half life-size, depicting the stance and profile of champion racehorse Red Rum in lifelike detail. This impressive horse statue is a spectacular display piece for the interior of a prestigious countryside estate or a spacious converted barn where Red Rum can be enjoyed in all its glory.
