About this piece

An impressive matching pair of large antique Empire style cast iron urns with a bronze type finish; perfect for bringing grandeur and magnificence to a spacious hallway or courtyard garden. These urns are of a very substantial size, made from heavy cast iron and well-constructed with a range of decorative motifs. Each is cast with a lion mask to both sides holding rings in their mouths with drapery swags connecting above fluted socle bases.

Taking inspiration from the distinct symmetry of classical Empire styles, these antique urns will look beautiful styled together in a scheme – be that amongst a spring flower bed in a garden or either side of the entrance to a large reception room.
