About this piece
back to topA pair of glazed terracotta Victorian corbels circa 1890. Once used to form part of a door or entranceway, these scrolling corbels are beautifully ornate. Each is in a matching design detailed with striking cherub masks above a scrolling corbel ornamented with an acanthine leaf clasp. These Victorian architectural corbels are made in terracotta with tin-glazing to the surface, creating a white, crazed finish.
