While buff terracotta is traditionally a pale colour, these good-quality 19th century urns have an unusual orangey tone, lightly weathered from exposure to the elements. The design is typically Victorian with square tops and socle bases, with a decorative, deeply moulded body featuring scroll and flare details.
They are large in scale, each standing at just over 2ft tall (66cm), making an impressive pair of ornamental urns in a traditional inspired garden.
