An impressive pair of carved antique garden urns in a neoclassical style dating from the mid 19th century. Sourced from an estate in Scotland, these sandstone urns are large in scale with beautifully preserved details, making for spectacular decorative statuary in a prestigious garden. Each urn is hand carved into sandstone, ornately decorated with striking flame finials, a fluted top band and leaves elevated by a socle base. You can imagine these spectacular neoclassical style urns as a striking feature in a countryside estate, used as finials for a gate, stairway or entrance or as a focal point of a historic courtyard.

As is the nature of handmade items, each urn varies slightly in height. We are also selling various other urns in a similar style sourced from the same location.
