About this piece

A pair of antique Victorian wrought iron pedestrian gates.

Traditionally constructed from wrought iron, this ornate gate dates back to the late 19th century. Shot blasted and primed with a working latch, this gate is ready to use.

From the base, a tight run of alternating straight and curved railings, which are ideal for keeping pets in (or out!). The mid section has a complex scroll pattern that continues upwards. The top is finished with security spikes and opposing scrolls meeting in a heart formation at the centre.

This gate mixes security and style, lending itself to multiple types of property. With a large opening and intricate design, this would make a wonderful pedestrian entrance gate.
