Originating in China, foo dogs resemble Chinese guardian lions, representing prosperity, success, and guardianship.
Dating to circa 1870, the urns are perfectly accompanied by an elegant pair of ebonised turned wood pedestals. Their square bases and octagonal tops display egg and dart mouldings.
A striking decorative pair perfect for the interior of modern and period properties alike.
