About this piece
back to topAn original late 18th century Georgian ‘bullseye’ pine fire surround of relatively small scale, circa 1790. At over 230 years old, this antique fireplace has stood the test of time. It displays styling evocative of the period with distinct Georgian ‘bullseye’ roundels to the end blocks and a neoclassical style tablet to the frieze. A wax finish brings out the natural colour and rustic woodgrain of the pine, making for an elegant, streamline surround to suit traditional townhouses and contemporary cottages alike.
