About this piece

A superb example of a naturally-occurring botryoidal malacholla specimen, favoured for its vivid natural blue colour! This sizeable specimen is presented on one of our exclusive bases, perfect for interior display.

This stunning specimen is sourced from Congo’s Kulukuluku Mine, known for its high-quality malacholla specimens. The mineral is formed from chrysocolla – known for its distinguishable blue-green colour – on a malachite matrix, this example displaying a distinctive botryoidal formation characterised by its bulbous cauliflower-like clusters.

It’s vibrant shade of blue makes malacholla a truly unusual and stunning piece, standing out as a bright and eye-catching feature of a collector’s cabinet.
