About this piece
back to topA contemporary medieval style stained glass panel depicting the Virgin Mary and infant Jesus after the antique.
This high quality replica is reminiscent of the 15th century medieval styles. Crafted using traditional techniques with a high level of skill and detail.
In the centre, the Virgin Mary is crowned with a golden diadem, tenderly holding the infant Jesus. Angels are present throughout the scene with one holding a banner that reads INRI which stands for the Latin phrase ‘Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum’, which translates to “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.”
The colours are vivid throughout and the panel is ready to hang in a backlit position.
