About this piece
back to topA brilliant 6m total run of late 20th century faux library books, reclaimed from a museum exhibition. Arranged in runs of various sizes as pictured, the groups vary from single books to the longest run of 23 books.
Imitating old antique books, these faux books are perfect for interior decor and display. Place on shelves to create a unique library bookcase, style creatively to conceal a secret doorway or use as props for theatrical performances or film productions – the possibilities are endless!
This is just one set of long faux book runs we are selling, each made of resin/composite book spines in various colours and attached to manmade board, imitating aged Victorian and Georgian library books.
Highlights of this collection include white, green, red and blue spines and humorous titles of natural history and historical interest such as “Ice on the Equator: Now, That’s What I Call Cold!” and “Ammonites Arrive: Curly-shelled & Squid-ish”.
