back to topA large scale reclaimed Jacobean style English oak fire surround.
Dated to circa 1870, this architectural fire surround was hand carved in the late 19th century.
Ionic columns stand on raised blocks to form the jambs that extend to the top of the surround. Joined with a geometric repeating frieze, the mantel sits below with a row of toothed blocks supporting the underside.
Presented in a worn original finish.
