About this piece
back to topAn impressive large scale natural white Aragonite specimen.
Originating from Morocco, Aragonite, or cave calcite, is often referred to as cave popcorn thanks to its repeating sphere like crystals and neutral tone.
Formations occur as stalactites and stalagmites within caves, mines, and moist areas that are rich in limestone.
This striking and unusual specimen does stand but would need additional support for long term display. It would make a striking feature in a collector’s cabinet.
Dimensions are approximate due to the irregular shape of the piece.
