back to topA large antique stained glass window comprising of 2 panels depicting Saint Peter or Peter the Apostle portrayed holding a key. The key symbolises the ‘Key of Heaven’ which Jesus gave to Peter as a symbol of his spiritual power.
Expertly crafted, the Saint is captured in green, blue and yellow glass before a neoclassical backdrop surrounded by foliate columns and a further multicoloured glass border with scalloped corners to the top.
Dating from the late 19th/early 20th century, this religious stained glass window was likely once situated in a church or similar religious building.
Another similar singular panel of a Saint thought to be St. Paul also available under Stock No. 36533.
