Skilfully carved and pierced using varying techniques to produce an ornate pediment. A symmetrical design of interlacing scrollwork crosses in the centre to give life to the carving.
Culminating in opposing flowers, the more time spent admiring the work, more nuances and differences are discovered.
This carving would work just as impressively mounted over a door or cabinet as it would at the head of a bed.
