back to topA mid-19th century English, Gothic Revival limestone fireplace in the manner of Pugin, circa 1860. This fireplace bears similarities to two surrounds supplied to Presentation Convent, Co. Waterford, designed by Augustus Pugin and completed by his son, Edward Pugin.
Reclaimed from a private residence in the North of England, this beautiful antique fireplace is carved from Caen limestone with marble columns to the jambs for an additional touch of grandeur.
It is comprised of 7 components, allowing the total height to be adjusted as desired (see photos).
