English arched stained glass acid etched window of an Oriental scene.

Dated to circa 1850, this mid-19th century window portrays a calming Asian vista with mountains in the distance. The oriental scene in original frame is made up of vibrant oranges and yellows, with detailed flashes of blue and pink. Patterns are acid etched directly onto the glass.

The vied gives the illusion of looking out from a building at a fantastical landscape. Fine details of traders can be seen in the foreground and ornate oriental buildings taper off into the horizon.

Presented in its original pine window frame.
