About this piece

A brilliantly colourful antique stained glass double window, reclaimed from a hotel in Newquay, UK.

Though dating from the late 19th century, these Victorian era leaded glass panels make a stunning feature window in properties traditional and modern alike, suiting any home seeking glass in vivid multicolours. It is comprised of two near identical stained glass panes fixed into an original pine frame, only varying slightly in their arrangement of coloured roundels.

To the centre of each is a blue glass roundel, hand painted with a Tudor style rose, among golden garlands and foliage, instilling each window with a sense of grandeur. This sits within a gold rectangular border with a stylised egg and dart pattern among blue, yellow, pink and green roundels, cut and polished to give a faceted diamond-like appearance.

We are also selling various stained glass windows in a similar design sourced from the same location.
