This late 19th century carved solid oak fire surround dates from the late Victorian era but is styled in an earlier Georgian manner, carved with charming Anthemion flowers to the frieze. The shaped jambs are equally as ornate, carved with oval floral paterae above scrolling foliage, tapering to match the curved line of the outer jambs.
