This reclaimed chimneypiece is constructed from pine and ornately decorated with composition foliage, painted and gilded to give it it’s golden colour. Provenance
From the estate of Anne Gainsford (1935-2025). Gainsford was a British costume, set and hat designer for film, theatre and television. The interior of her Richmond home, from which this fire surround was sourced, mirrored her vast historical interests.
