Condition Report

Good structural condition. It is supplied with a hanging hook which is screwed to the top so it can be displayed onto a wall; it can also be unscrewed or mounted onto a stand. The marble profile is fixed to felt backing in a period gilt frame. Edges of the frame are made in unfinished pine.

Tiberius Caesar Augustus

The second emperor of Rome and known for his brilliant military career, Tiberius helped carry out the expansion of the Roman Empire along the Danube and into modern day Germany.

He was also in power when Jesus was thought to have been crucified.
