Condition Report

Good structural condition. Recently refinished inside with paint enamel. External filler pipe and plunger waste. The waste moves freely but has not been tested. A mixer valve would need to be fitted to the filler pipe work.

Marked ‘Ewart and Son Ltd’ of Euston Road, London, this antique bath is a rare find. We have only ever seen one other bath by Ewart and Son, who are best known in English history for their water heaters and copper ventilators. For this reason, this copper bath is an unusual piece, becoming the focal point of any antique style bathroom.
